This machine was integrated into a production line for splitting wire reinforced expandable polythene ducting.

The machine was driven via a high power servomotor, which threw a specially developed carbide cutting blade and high speed through the ducting whilst it was being produced. The ducting was moving at high speed and the fixed and lower blades were developed and produced after running various trials.

The positioning and angles of the blade assemble was easily adjusted to accommodate different product sizes.
