A prototype machine for the assembly of a drug dose carrier for a revolutionary drug delivery system.

The product consisted of a moulded plastic component with 130+ doses of a drug encapsulated by a plastic coated foil. The component was cropped to size, formed into a tube, and heat stake welded.

The machine was built with full FDA trace-ability for US food and drug administration. The machine was built alongside the original simple trial rigs to a pre-production machine capable of producing 20 components per minute.
